How to Treat the Symptoms of Covid

How to Treat the Symptoms of Covid

I feel like I need to put a disclaimer around this post. I don’t want this to turn into a debate about Covid-19, Delta, Omicron, vaccinations, boosters, mask-wearing, or anything like that. Furthermore, I know I am not a doctor. I joke that I can diagnose you, but it’s a joke! Don't light up the comments with a bunch of hate…keep it civil. This post provides you with information on how you can treat the symptoms of Covid, not start a battle.

What are the symptoms?

There is no cure for Covid or any of its variants. You can only treat your symptoms, and it seems each variant has different symptoms. Everyone gets impacted with the same symptoms. The current list of Covid symptoms include:

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

My clients always ask me health questions, and I love that for so many reasons. One reason is it means they trust me and they value my input. They respect my knowledge in health, fitness, and nutrition. Another reason is that I learn so much, helping them find the answer to their question. I’ve learned from one of the best allergists and immunologists in the St. Louis area. So the information I’m sharing with you isn’t bogus; it’s not fake news. It’s meant to help you. But as with any new medication, supplement, or exercise regimen, you should always check with your doctor first.

What to take?

Colloidal Silver

Colloidal Silver is a mineral used to aid in the healing of infections and illnesses before modern antibiotics were created. Today, it’s considered a homeopathic or alternative therapy. Studies show that Colloidal Silver combats inflammation, fungi, bacteria, and viruses. If you take it in excess for a prolonged period, you could suffer from Argyria. It’s a side effect that turns your skin blue. You’ll look like a Smurf.

Baking Soda

Baking Soda is the common household term for sodium bicarbonate. And sodium bicarbonate is used to alter pH levels. pH stands for “potential hydrogen,” It lets us know how much hydrogen is in a liquid and how active the hydrogen ion is. Baking soda is an alkaline substance, so it alters the pH level when it's mixed with an acid. An overly acidic environment is the perfect breeding ground for infection and disease. So a healthy person should have more alkalinity and less acidity. Drinking water and baking soda on an empty stomach have an alkalizing effect on the body.

Vitamin D

When you hear “Vitamin D,” you probably think of calcium and healthy bones. But updated research shows it plays a critical role in supporting your body’s immune system. It has both anti-inflammatory and immunoregulatory properties. It’s essential to the activation of your immune system's defense.

Zinc

Zinc is an essential mineral that helps your immune system and supports metabolism. There are several ways zinc supports the immune system. Essentially, it activates enzymes that break down proteins in viruses and bacteria, so they cannot spread throughout the body.

Quercetin

Quercetin is a plant pigment that contains highly potent antioxidants. It can help stabilize the cells that release histamine in the body, thereby having an anti-inflammatory and antihistamine effect.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a nutrient your body uses to create blood vessels, cartilage, muscles, and collagen in bones. It also aids in your body’s healing process. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects your cells against the effects of free radicals. Free radicals in your body are unstable atoms that can damage cells, causing illness.

Magnesium

Magnesium is a mineral that helps keep blood pressure regular, bones strong, and the heart rhythm steady. A lack of magnesium deficiency can lead to elevated inflammation markers. Inflammation is associated with significant health conditions such as certain cancers, diabetes, and heart disease. Magnesium is also a relaxant and can help you sleep.

When to take it?

First thing in the morning, on an empty stomach, take 1,100ppm of Colloidal Silver. You can take this up to three times a day; just be sure that it’s on an empty stomach.

Second, before breakfast, take two teaspoons of baking soda, mix it with 8 ounces of water, and then chug it. Frank the Tank it! Just make sure it’s at least 30 minutes after you take the Colloidal Silver. You should drink the baking soda and water mixture before each meal, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

After breakfast, take your multivitamin, Vitamin D (1000 - 1500mg), Zinc (30 up to 50 daily), Quercetin (500), and Vitamin C (1500 - 2000).

Then, after lunch, take an additional Quercetin (500) and Vitamin C (1500 - 2000).

Finally, at bedtime, take Magnesium (250 - 500mg).
